Spalding Flower Parade
1995
The Flower Queen for 1995 was Tracey Markham and her deputy was Rachael Murray.
This was the first year that the parade was moved to Springfields instead of the town football field. The parade had a new route and direction but the only problem encountered was the heat. St. Johns Ambulance reported 139 casualties. Parade Chairman was Brian Drury and the parade consisted of 15 floats along with marching bands. The theme was 'World of books'.
