Spalding Flower Parade

The 1993 Spalding Flower Parade marked 35 years of this annual event and it was held on Saturday 1st May. The theme was '35 Years of floral entertainment'
The parade left the Sir Halley Stewart field at 1pm and consisted of:

Caroline Anning was elected as the 1993 Flower Queen. The 21-year old senior care assistant was engaged to be married at the time. She rode in the parade on the float sponsored by the South Holland District Council. She was accompanied by her deputy, Fiona Chester (18).
