Spalding Flower Parade
1982
The 1982 Spalding Flower Parade took place on Saturday May 8th, starting at the Sir Halley Stewart field at 1.30pm. This year, the parade was part of the English Tourist Board's 'Maritime England' promotion. Twenty-six trains arrived in Spalding, packed with visitors. The attendance was close to half a million.
